This document specifically concerns the processing of personal data in the context of marketing activities which include a.o.:

• Announcements concerning events organized or co-hosted by Studentup.

Which personal data does Studentup process?

Studentup may process the following personal data in the context of marketing activities:

• Name
• Email Address

Once you agree to this privacy statement, you allow Studentup to process these specific personal data for the purposes mentioned in the ‘purposes’ section. However, as marketing activities are only carried out with your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This cannot be done so with retroactive effect.

In order to withdraw consent, click the ‘unsubscribe’ link in the marketing emails or send us an email to privacy@studentup.com.

Purposes

Studentup may process the abovementioned personal data in order to:

• Send updates on the launch of the platform;
• Send updates on the progress of our platform, e.g. announcements when new features are launched;
• Organize events and engage in marketing activities linking to those events;
• Organize or engage in other marketing activities;
• Improve the quality of the platform to align them more with consumer wishes;
• Analyze consumer segments.

Retention periods

Studentup retains personal data no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose of the data processing or to meet legal obligations. Therefore, your personal data are deleted from our systems one month after you withdraw your consent latest.

Third-party access

Studentup has taken measures to ensure that only those people involved in processing your data have access to them. Your personal data are not shared with third parties, with the possible exception of parties providing services to Studentup. In case personal data is shared with these parties, Studentup will enter into written agreements with these parties on the processing and security of personal data.
